Active chat forums without eBaums, trollers etc. for emo teenagers? (Other styles are accepted)?
Q. Hello, I have been looking for Active chat boxes that can have more than on person chatting, sort of a life a Yahoo chat conference only it's not yahoo and it's open to public. I need a FREE site, for people to openly chat, whether about their life, complaints or random things (Like, "I like Cookies!!!1!") WITHOUT 1: Haters, 2:Rude as hell eBaums, 3: Racists, 4:heavy duty spammers, 5:People looking for dates constantly (Sex oriented). Just something where we can have fun and chat randomly. ~~I am an Emo teenager, previously with emoforum.org until the Moderators turned and backstabbed me, got raided by eBaums the "Legendary" theif company able to steal IP adresses, hack into our systems, and etc., If your lucky you won't get banned from… [cont.]

A. hi, im the Admin on emoforum.org. It is true we had a hard time, though we have less spammers now, i worked my head for 5 days writing different ban systems, and now unleast we have much less spammers. And: who backstabbed you? if you have any problems you know my email (draconyster@gmail.com), and i can clear angry mods. And, you know, its darn lame to hate a website just because it is raided by spammers. Other emo sites have fallen in matter of hours, yet me and the mods have stood off for a few days now, and so? why hate us?

Are there any support forums for the spouses of people whose parents have passed away?
Q. My fiance's mom passed away shortly after I met her this past October. I want to be there for him but he won't let me in and I tell him all the time to talk to me about her, share stories, IM HERE but nothing and unfortunately I didn't get the chance to really get to know her. I am not really sure how best to be there for him and would like to know if there is a chat forum of some sort where I could speak to others in my situation. Thanks.

Are people who use Internet Boards representative of the general population?
Q. Recently, I posted something to Yelp!, in which I complained that my apartment had been burglarized while I was in the hospital. I received several extremely cold-hearted responses, and I could hardly imagine human beings treating each other in the manner in which these anonymous posters treated me. Do you think that users of these chat boards tend to have serious mental health problems? Do you think these problems might predispose them to using these anonymous chat forums? Or do you think that use of the chat boards itself tends to cause people to be so "bold" as to say things they would dare not say to a person's face? Actually, I mean any type of anonymous electronic forum.

A. You know that is a very good legitimate question. I remember reading an article about that. That people seem to be able to say things on message boards that you just don't hear in everyday life when people are communicating face to face. Many people would never say the things they say on here to someone if they could look in their eyes. I think you have a point. I wouldn't go so far as to say that people who join message boards are mentally unhealthy...but I do think message forums do present an opportunity for people to take out their anger, low self-esteem, and frustration on people anonymously and so they don't hold back. I'd say that our lives are all full of stress and frustrations, and unhappiness and on the internet we all just go… [cont.]
